International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD)

ICD) is the global standard for diagnostic health information. ICD-10-CA, or the Canadian variant of ICD-10, is used by AHS. The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) distributes and supports ICD-10-CA.

The Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI) is the national standard for identifying health-care procedures, was also developed by CIHI.
